LAP-A-THON 2023 with a Splash of Colour!
In week 1, students participated in the Lap-a-thon with a Splash of Colour fundraiser. Students began the day in their clean, white t-shirts before running through the water and colour stations completing as many laps as possible. By the end of their laps their t-shirts were no longer white, but instead a rainbow of vibrant colours. The weather held off for us and a fun day was had by all!!! Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to help on the day.
We are putting out a last call for any donations and sponsorship forms from our Lap-a-thon with a Splash of Colour. We’d love to have all donations, big or small, via Qkr! or returned to school ASAP. Prizes for the class with the most money raised and our top 10 individual prize winners will be announced at our next whole school assembly.
Mother’s Day Stall
Last Friday, we held our annual Mother’s Day Stall. Thank you to all the families who purchased gifts from this year’s stall. The students were very careful when trying to select your special Mother’s Day gifts. We hope you loved them!
Thanks to the wonderful parents and Year 6 leaders who were able to help out with selling presents on the day.

Fundraising Achievement
Last year our school community raised a massive $43,212 from our many successful fundraising events. Your support has enabled us to reach our target and portable staging has now been purchased for our Gymnasium.
We thank the Mitcham Primary School community for your continuing support of all our fundraising events this year, which will enable us to purchase additional play equipment and outdoor seating. We are looking forward to our next fundraiser – School Disco happening soon!
